On the one hand, the German corporate landscape is known for a large number of successful medium-sized companies; on the other hand, many large German corporations are among the global market leaders, for example in the automotive industry, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, aviation, medical technology and more. In 2020, more than 400 companies were listed on the stock exchange in Germany. The most important of these are in one of the indices of the DAX family. The DAX was expanded from 30 to 40 stocks in September 2021. The MDAX is the second stock market league and also contains many companies of interest to investors, as do the SDAX (small caps) and the TecDAX (technology stocks). Since the introduction of the DAX on July 1, 1988, the company's shares have been in the German benchmark index without interruption. Siemens is a conglomerate, with automation and digitization of industry, building infrastructure, medical technology, rail and road transportation representing some of its key business areas. After the share price rally from March 2020 to December 2021, which had led to a doubling of the share price, the share price recently corrected and is currently trading between 110 and 120 euros. Headquartered in Neubiberg (near Munich), the company focuses in particular on energy efficiency, mobility and security. Infineon's business is divided into the Automotive, Industrial Power Control, Power &amp; Sensor Systems and Connected Secure Systems divisions. In the wake of the overall market correction in the first months of 2022, Infineon's share price fell from 44 euros per share to around 27 euros currently. In addition to Germany, the company is active in other European countries as well as in North and South America and in some Asian countries. Nemetschek's software solutions make it possible to cover the entire value chain in construction and have made the company one of the industry leaders in Europe. The quarterly results published in April 2022 were better than expected and Nemetschek expects revenue increases of 12 to 14 percent in the current year. After a doubling of the share price in 2021, a significant correction took place in the first quarter of 2021, which could potentially put the share back at an attractive long-term buy level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hornbach<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Company: HORNBACH Holding AG &amp; Co. By far the largest share of total sales is generated by Hornbach Baumarkt AG. The company's DIY stores are well-known throughout Germany and in other European countries and offer around 50,000 articles for DIY enthusiasts.
