When you use our website for information purposes only, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise transmit information to us, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO:

address. The provision of further, separately marked data is voluntary and will be used to address you personally. After your
confirmation, we store your e-mail address for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO. For the registration to our newsletter we use the so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after your registration, we will
send you an e-mail to the specified e-mail address, in which we ask you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. In addition, we store your IP addresses and the times of registration and confirmation. The purpose of this procedure is to verify your registration and, if necessary, to be able to clarify a possible misuse of your personal data. You can revoke your consent to receive the newsletter at any time and unsubscribe. We use the „MailChimp“ service for the registration, dispatch and analysis of our newsletter. The provider is Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

The personal data provided by you when registering for the newsletter or subsequently supplemented by you will be stored on the servers of MailChimp in the USA. With the services of MailChimp, we can analyze our newsletter actions. When you open an e-mail sent with MailChimp, a data file contained in the e-mail (so-called web beacon) connects to the MailChimp servers in the USA. In doing so, we record whether newsletter messages are opened, when they are
opened and which links, if any, are clicked on. In addition, technical information is collected (e.g. time of retrieval, IP address, browser type and operating system). For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients. However, it is neither our intention nor, if used, that of the dispatch service provider to observe individual users. The analyses serve us much more to recognize the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to them or to send different content according to the interests of our users. The analysis is not possible if you have deactivated the display of images by default in your e-mail program. In this case, the newsletter will not be displayed in its entirety and you may not be able to use all of its functions. If you display the images manually, the above-mentioned analysis will take place.

The data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter (see section 9 of the privacy policy). The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation. We have also concluded an order processing agreement (so-called „Data-Processing-Agreement“) with Rocket Science Group LLC, in which we oblige them to protect the personal data of the recipients of our newsletter and not to pass them on to third parties. If you send us inquiries via contact form or live chat, your information including the contact data you provide there will be stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry and for follow-up questions. This data will not be forwarded without your consent. The legal basis for processing the personal data entered in the contact form or live chat is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO. The data you enter in the contact form or live chat will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have completed processing your request). Mandatory legal provisions such as retention periods remain unaffected.

So-called social icons (e.g. from Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google Plus, LinkedIn, XING, Instagram) are integrated on our website. These
are only integrated on our website as a link to the corresponding services. After clicking on the embedded graphic, you will be redirected to the page of the respective provider, i.e. only then will personal data be transferred to the respective provider. We use affilinet tracking cookies on our website to record sales/ leads. These affilinet tracking cookies do not store any personal data.
