DAX und Wall Street Börsenrückblick: Nach der Fed ist vor den US-Arbeitsmarktdaten

Nach der US-Notenbanksitzung dürfte am heutigen Freitag die Veröffentlichung der „Non-Farm Payrolls“ im Fokus stehen. Neben den geldpolitischen Entwicklungen gilt es weiterhin die laufende Bilanzsaison im Auge zu behalten.

Für den Dow Jones ging es zuletzt um 0,85 Prozent auf 38.226 Zähler aufwärts. Der S&P 500 schloss ein Prozent höher bei 5.066 Punkten. Die Nasdaq kletterte um 1,3 Prozent auf 17.542 Zähler. Der deutsche Leitindex dürfte am heutigen Freitag weiterhin den Kampf um die psychologisch wichtige 18.000-Punkte-Marke weiterführen.

Inflationszahlen geben nur partiell Lichtblicke – US-Daten schwächeln

Bereits zu Wochenbeginn standen am deutschen Aktienmarkt neue Inflationsraten für die Bundesrepublik Deutschland im Fokus. Mit einer vorläufigen Teuerungsrate von 2,2 Prozent im April konnten die im Vorfeld getätigten Prognosen sogar unterboten werden (2,3 Prozent), was als Hoffnungsschimmer verstanden werden kann.

Der NBS-Einkaufsmanagerindex (China) für das verarbeitende Gewerbe fiel im April auf 50,4 Zähler, nach einem Anstieg auf 50,8 Punkte im März. Erwartet wurden im Vorfeld 50,3 Punkte. Die Entwicklung der chinesischen Wirtschaft ist insofern hierzulande von Interesse, da das Reich der Mitte nicht zuletzt auch als Konjunkturlokomotive für den Rest der Welt verstanden wird.

Die deutsche Wirtschaft konnte indes mit einem leichten Plus in das neue Jahr starten, welche damit nur knapp an einer Rezession vorbeigeschrammt. Das sogenannte Bruttoinlandsprodukt legte von Januar bis März um 0,2 Prozent im Vergleich zum Vorquartal zu, was gleichzeitig dem größten Plus seit einem Jahr entspricht. Im vierten Quartal 2023 war das BIP noch um 0,5 Prozent geschrumpft.

Einen Dämpfer in puncto EZB-Zinssenkungen verpassten die ersten Schätzungen zu den Inflationszahlen (Kernrate) am Dienstag, welche mit 2,7 Prozent im April gegenüber dem Vorjahresmonat höher als die im Vorfeld getätigten Erwartungen lagen (2,6 Prozent), nach 2,9 Prozent im März.

Fed hält wie erwartet in puncto Zinsen ihre Füße Still – Powell-Rhetorik nicht eindeutig

Wie erwartet hat die US-Notenbank Federal Reserve (Fed) am späten Mittwochabend das Leitzinsniveau bei der aktuellen Spanne von 5,25 bis 5,50 Prozent belassen, welches damit zum sechsten Mal in Folge unverändert bleibt.

„Ich denke, es ist unwahrscheinlich, dass der nächste Schritt eine Zinserhöhung sein wird“, sagte Jerome Powell. Allerdings signalisierte er auch, dass die Leitzinsen noch eine ganze Weile auf einem hohen Niveau bleiben könnten. Die jüngsten Inflationsdaten seien demnach höher ausgefallen als erwartet, trotz der Fortschritte im vergangenen Jahr. Laut Powell könne der Kampf gegen die Teuerung nun länger andauern als noch zu Jahresbeginn gedacht.

Die sogenannten ADP-Daten fielen mit 192.000 neuen Stellen im April etwas schwächer aus als der Erwartungswert (208.000 Einheiten). Auch der ISM-PMI-Index für das verarbeitende Gewerbe hatte mit 49,2 Punkten im April unter den Erwartungen von 50 Zählern gelegen.

Anleger hoffen auf Eintrübung des Jobmarkts – Geldpolitik weiter im Fokus

Der Freitag steht ganz im Zeichen der sogenannten „NFPs“ um 14:30 Uhr. Ökonomen rechnen damit, dass in der größten Volkswirtschaft der Welt außerhalb der Landwirtschaft 243.000 neue Stellen geschaffen worden sind. Schätzungsweise könnte die Arbeitslosenquote bei 3,8 Prozent und damit im Vergleich zum Vormonat unverändert notieren.Auch die durchschnittlichen Stundenlöhne dürften sich gegenüber dem Vormonat weiter unverändert präsentieren (+0,30 Prozent).

Am Nachmittag stehen zudem neue Daten zum ISM-PMI-Index für den Dienstleistungssektor (16:00 Uhr) sowie Fed-Reden mit Goolsbee und Williams (01:45 Uhr) auf der Agenda.

Quartalszahlen treiben Anleger um – Apple mit Lichtblick für die Märkte

Auch die Quartalssaison hat in dieser Woche für kräftig Aufsehen gesorgt. So hatte Amazon in der ersten Wochenhälfte mit einem enttäuschenden Ausblick Anleger umgetrieben, was auf die Erwartung einer verhaltenen Nachfrage im bedeutenden Cloud-Geschäft zurückzuführen ist.

Indes konnte Apple am späten Donnerstagabend nach US-Börsenschluss für Lichtblicke sorgen. Das US-amerikanische Unternehmen zeige sich trotz mauer Absätze im iPhone-Geschäft optimistisch, hieß es. Am heutigen Freitag könnten zudem die Zahlen von Daimler Truck bewegen.
