Herbert Thomas of ADVANCED FINANCE began his career at Merrill Lynch, where he was initially an equity trader on the Frankfurt trading floor, before joining Deutsche Bank in 1991 as one of the first generation of traders to be admitted to the German derivatives exchange (Eurex).
He completed additional training for derivative products at the
International Trading Institute in Chicago and was a lecturer at the
for the stock exchange trader examination. Herbert Thomas worked at various major European banks in senior positions in the equities and derivatives area.
