There could be monetary policy stimuli today (Wednesday) from Fed representatives Lisa Cook and Susan Collins (Boston/20:00) and Mary Daly (San Francisco/22:10).
On Thursday, the weekly initial claims for US unemployment benefits are likely to attract increased attention, especially after last Friday's jobs report (14:30).
In July, only 73,000 new jobs were created outside the agricultural sector, significantly fewer than expected (110,000). At the same time, the data for May and June was revised downwards by 258,000 jobs.
