DAX and Wall Street stock market review: Rollercoaster ride due to tech reporting season

Die laufende Berichtssaison der Techunternehmen in den USA hat immer mehr Einfluss auf das globale Börsengeschehen. Demnach dürfte die Abhängigkeit weiter hochbleiben, solange die US-Schwergewichte ihre Zahlen präsentieren. Neben der Bilanzflut behalten Anleger die geldpolitischen Entwicklungen im Auge.

Für den DAX 40 geht der Kampf um die psychologische 18.000-Punkte-Marke am Freitag weiter (+0,50 Prozent). Der Dow Jones lag am Donnerstagabend zuletzt bei 38.085 Punkten (-1,0 Prozent), die Nasdaq bei 15.611 Zählern (-0,6 Prozent) und der S&P 500 bei 5.048 Punkten (-0,5 Prozent).

Einkaufsmanager mit gemischten Signalen – ifo-Index auf höchstem Stand seit fast 10 Jahren

Am Dienstag signalisierten die Einkaufsmanager (HCOB) hierzulande Erholungstendenzen für die heimische Wirtschaft. In den USA konnte das Pendant aus dem Hause S&P allerdings die Erwartungen nicht erfüllen, welche für den April eine leichte Eintrübung vorhersagten.

Der ifo-Geschäftsklimaindex konnte sich am Mittwoch sehen lassen. Die Stimmung in der deutschen Wirtschaft ist so gut wie seit fast einem Jahr nicht mehr. Besagter Index war für den April zum dritten Mal in Folge gestiegen. „Die Konjunktur stabilisiert sich, vor allem durch die Dienstleister“, hieß es vom ifo-Institut aus München.

Für positive Überraschungen sorgten am Nachmittag auch Zahlen zu Bestellungen langlebiger Güter in den USA, welche in der Regel mit größeren Ausgaben verbunden sind. Besagter Sektor konnte im März stärker zulegen als gedacht.

US-Wirtschaft wächst langsamer als erwartet – „PCE-Deflator“ im Fokus

Am Donnerstag überraschte das GfK-Verbrauchervertrauen mit weiteren Erholungstendenzen und sorgte somit zumindest temporär für Erholung.

Denn die sogenannte BIP-Wachstumsrate in den USA zeigte auf, dass die US-Wirtschaft im ersten Quartal weniger stark gewachsen ist als in den Vormonaten. Das BIP legte demnach zwischen Januar und März annualisiert um 1,6 Prozent zu. Erwarten wurde im Vorfeld ein Wachstum von 2,4 Prozent.

Im Fokus der Anleger stehen heute neue US-Preisdaten (14:30 Uhr). Der „PCE-Deflator“ zu den persönlichen Konsumausgaben könnte eine wichtige Indikation für die zukünftige Inflationsentwicklung geben und somit auch geldpolitische Signale liefern. Für die Kernrate rechnen Fachleute mit einem Plus von 2,6 Prozent nach 2,8 Prozent im Februar (per Jahresmonatsvergleich).
Die Daten dürften insofern auf Interesse stoßen, da die US-Notenbank Federal Reserve (Fed) bereits am kommenden Mittwoch über das zukünftige Leitzinsniveau entscheidet, auch wenn eine Zinspause erwartet wird. Die anschließende FOMC-Pressekonferenz dürften Anleger nach geldpolitischen Hinweisen abklopfen.

Aus Sicht des Wirtschaftsdatenkalenders runden neue Zahlen zur Verbraucherstimmung (Michigan) den Handelstag heute ab (16:00 Uhr).

Meta, Alphabet und Google beschäftigen Anleger – Berichtssaison weiter im Blick

Die Berichtssaison hat die Anleger in dieser Woche ebenfalls stark beschäftigt. So hatte der Facebook-Konzern Meta die Märkte mit seinem Ausblick in der ersten Wochenhälfte verprellt. Meta rechnet im laufenden Quartal mit weniger Umsatz als gedacht. Im Gegenzug sollen die Ausgaben steigen. Der KI-Dienst „Meta AI“ soll zum „weltweit führenden KI-Dienst sowohl bei der Qualität als auch bei der Nutzung werden.“ Allerdings könne es Jahre dauern, bis der Konzern damit Geld verdiene, hieß es.

Für positive Impulse sorgten hingegen die Unternehmen Google und Microsoft am Donnerstag, welche nach US-Börsenschluss ihre Quartalszahlen klar über den Prognosen vorlegten. Demnach laufe das Werbegeschäft in den Reihen Googles weiterhin gut. Microsoft signalisierte, dass sich die Investitionen in Cloud und Künstliche Intelligenz auszahlen würden (KI).

Hierzulande könnten heute die Zahlen der Porsche AG auf Interesse stoßen.
