Snapshot Quotes subscribe
CapTrader offers eligible clients the ability to receive a real-time price quote for a single instrument upon request. This service, referred to as "snapshot market data," differs from traditional quote services that provide continuous streaming and updates of real-time quotes. Snapshot quotes are offered as a low-cost alternative for customers who do not trade regularly and do not rely on delayed quotes when placing orders1 would like to leave. You can find more details about this offer service below.
The snapshot offer contains the following data:
Last price
Last size
Last exchange
Current offer request
Size for each current bid/letter request
Exchange for each current bid request
Monthly fee for Snapshots
The monthly fee for snapshots will be capped at the corresponding monthly service price for streaming realtime. At that time, streaming quotes will be provided for the remainder of the month at no additional charge. The switch to streaming quotes will occur at approximately 6:30 p.m. EST on the following business day after the snapshot threshold is reached. At the end of the month, the streaming service will be automatically terminated and the snapshot counter reset. Each service is capped independently and quote requests for one service cannot be counted against the cap of another. See table below for sample details.
Customers receive free snapshot offers in the amount of $1.00 each month.
Free snaps can be applied to both US and non-US quote requests
Fees are charged without further notice as soon as the free quota is exhausted
Customers can view their snapshot usage at the end of each business day via the customer portal
Offer fees are charged on a lag basis, generally in the first week following the month in which the snapshot services were provided.
Accounts that do not have sufficient cash or equity with loan value to cover the monthly fee will be liquidated.

Snapshot data and delayed data
Basically, users receive free delayed market data for almost all exchanges. If needed, users can subscribe to real-time streaming market data at the prices listed below. Once a subscription is active, delayed market data will be replaced with real-time quotes. In addition, customers who do not require streaming real-time price quotes will be able to request snapshot data from multiple exchanges worldwide. Through such a request, customers will receive a static quote for the instrument. U.S. listed stocks are $0.01 per quote request and all other instruments are $0.03 per quote request. As a special service, fees of 1.00 USD per month are waived for snapshot quotes.
