Daniel Schäfer

Daniel Schäfer is a computer scientist and founder of Schäfer Informatik GmbH in Leverkusen. Together with his team, he has been developing digital solutions with a focus on online interfaces in the B2B sector since 2011.

In fall 2021, he discovered the TWS API for himself. Even after his first steps with this extensive interface, he was absolutely thrilled by the possibilities. „It is the key to TWS's wealth of data. You can use it to automate and evaluate things that would take far too long to do manually in TWS.“.

After implementing a few small tools for his own day-to-day trading, many of these ideas were incorporated into the Windows tool „Tradility“, which he is constantly developing further together with his team.

Another passion of his is AI. Here, too, the circle closes: „The data from the TWS is ideal for creating machine learning models and with the integration of large language models, such as the GPT models from OpenAI, you can now even chat with your portfolio“.
