Herbert Thomas

Herbert Thomas began his career at Merrill Lynch, where he was initially an equity trader on the Frankfurt trading floor, before joining Deutsche Bank in 1991 as one of the first generation of traders to be admitted to the German derivatives exchange (Eurex). He completed additional training in derivatives products at the
International Trading Institute in Chicago and was a lecturer for the stock exchange trader exam. Herbert Thomas worked at various major European banks in senior positions in the equities and derivatives area and founded Advanced Finance in Zug, Switzerland, in 2008. His main focus is on optimization and hedging strategies for equity portfolios.
