Wochenrückblick DAX 40 und Wall Street: Rekordhoch in Frankfurt – Zinsoptimismus hält an

Der DAX 40 hat an Christi Himmelfahrt bei über 18.686 Punkten ein neues Rekordhoch markieren können. Dabei dürften insbesondere maue US-Jobdaten abermals für Auftrieb gesorgt haben. Bei einem vergleichsweise niedrigen Handelsvolumen reichen bereits wenige Orders, um das heimische Börsenbarometer entsprechend zu bewegen. Neben neuen Konjunkturdaten aus dem Reich der Mitte hat auch die laufende Berichtssaison Anleger in dieser Woche weiterhin auf Trab gehalten. 

In den USA ging es für den Dow Jones zuletzt bis auf 39.387 Punkte (+0,9 Prozent), für den S&P 500 auf 5.214 Einheiten. (0,5 Prozent) und für die Nasdaq auf 16.346 Zähler (+0,3 Prozent).

Freude über US-Arbeitsmarktdaten: Anleger setzen weiterhin auf Zinssenkungen

Bereits zu Wochenbeginn hatte der Ausgang des jüngsten US-Arbeitsmarktberichts von vor einer Woche die Zinssenkungsfantasien am Leben gehalten. Der Jobbericht war deutlich schwächer ausgefallen als im Vorfeld erwartet. Nach wie vor setzen Anleger rund um den Globus darauf, dass die zuständige US-Notenbank Federal Reserve (Fed) im September an den berüchtigten Zinsschrauben nach unten dreht. Wenn es nach dem „Fed-Watch-Tool“ der CME Group geht, dürfte dies mit einer Wahrscheinlichkeit in Höhe von 50 Prozent geschehen.

EU-Zinssenkung rückt näher: Schwedische Notenbank senkt Leitzinsen erstmals seit acht Jahren

In einer aus Sicht des Wirtschaftsdatenkalenders unspektakulären Handelswoche hatten zu Wochenbeginn zunächst neue China-Daten zum PMI-Dienstleistungsindex Optimismus geschürt.

Die finalen HCOB-Einkaufsmanager für den Dienstleistungssektor in Deutschland konnten die Erwartungen zwar nicht ganz erfüllen - die Enttäuschung darüber wurde durch den Optimismus in puncto Zinssenkungen allerdings gedeckelt. Nicht nur in den USA, sondern auch in der Eurozone setzen Anleger darauf, dass das Zinsniveau schon bald nach unten korrigiert werden könnte. Erstmals seit acht Jahren hatte zur Wochenmitte die schwedische Notenbank (Riksbank) die Zinsen nach unten geschraubt, welche damit in die Fußstapfen der Schweizerischen Notenbank (SNB) tritt.

Auch einige Fed-Vertreter kamen in dieser Woche bereits zu Wort. So sagte etwa die Präsidentin der Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, Susan Collins, dass sich die US-Wirtschaft abkühlen müsse, um die Teuerung wieder auf das anvisierte Zwei-Prozent-Ziel zu bringen. „Eine Verlangsamung der Aktivität wird notwendig sein, um sicherzustellen, dass die Nachfrage besser mit dem Angebot übereinstimmt, damit die Inflation dauerhaft zum offiziellen Ziel zurückkehren kann“, hieß es.

Erstanträge auf US-Arbeitslosenhilfe höher als gedacht – Zinssenkungsfantasien bleiben am Leben

Am Donnerstag sorgte der Ausgang der Erstanträge auf Arbeitslosenhilfe in den USA für Furore, auf welche Anleger nach dem jüngsten US-Arbeitsmarktbericht (Non-Farm Payrolls) wie erwartet besonders sensibel reagierten. In der vergangenen Woche lagen die Anträge bei 231.000 nach 208.000 Einheiten aus der Woche zuvor. Erwartet wurde ein Schnitt von 215.000 Einheiten.

Gleichzeitig konnten auch robuste Außenhandelsdaten der chinesischen Wirtschaft die Hoffnungen auf eine Erholung in der Volksrepublik wecken. Die Exporte waren im April gegenüber dem Vorjahresmonat um 1,5 Prozent gestiegen, nachdem diese im Vormonat noch um 7,5 Prozent gefallen waren.

Fed-Vertreter kommen erneut zu Wort – Veröffentlichung der US-Inflationsdaten dürfte schon bald Schatten vorauswerfen

Am heutigen Freitag gilt der Blick abermals den Fed-Vertretern Bowman (15:00 Uhr), Goolsbee (18:45 Uhr) und Barr (19:30 Uhr). Im Fokus dürfte am Nachmittag zudem das Verbrauchervertrauen der Uni Michigan stehen (16:00 Uhr).

Auch die Veröffentlichung neuer Inflationsdaten für die USA am kommenden Mittwoch dürfte schon bald ihre Schatten vorauswerfen.

Nicht zuletzt hat die Berichtssaison Marktteilnehmer insbesondere hierzulande in dieser Handelswoche umgetrieben.
So stachen die Zahlen von Siemens Energy am Mittwoch heraus, welche zwischenzeitlich um über zwölf Prozent anzogen. Anleger hatten die Umsatzprognose für das laufende Jahr honoriert. Für das Jahr 2024 erwartet der Konzern einen Anstieg der Erlöse in Höhe von zehn bis zwölf Prozent statt zuvor drei bis sieben Prozent.

Dagegen straften Investoren die Papiere von BMW ab. Der Autobauer hatte im ersten Quartal mit rund drei Milliarden Euro minus 19,4 Prozent weniger als im Vorjahresquartal verdient.

In den USA enttäuschten die Werte von Airbnb, welche zwischenzeitlich um fast sieben Prozent nachgaben. Laut Unternehmensangaben habe sich das Wachstum in Nordamerika "etwas verlangsamt", hieß es.
