Telefónica is one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world in terms of market capitalization and number of customers and is headquartered in the Spanish capital Madrid. The company offers mobile and fixed network services in Europe and Latin America. The company's services and products include the mobile phone business, the fixed wireless network, the fixed-line telephone business, broadband services, subscription television and other digital services. In recent years, Telefónica has tried to cut costs and focus even more on its key markets in Spain and Brazil as well as in Germany and the UK. Looking at the long-term share chart, it is clear that it has hardly given investors any pleasure in recent years. However, the share has been on a moderate upward trend since November 2020. With a current dividend yield of just under 7%, the share could also be of interest to income investors.

Iberdrola is a Spanish multinational electric utility active in the generation, distribution, trading and marketing of electricity in the United Kingdom, the United States, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France and Latin America. The Bilbao-based global energy company generates and markets electricity from renewable energy sources such as onshore and offshore wind, hydropower, photovoltaic, gas-fired combined cycle, nuclear and biomass, as well as through the installation of batteries. In addition, Iberdrola is active in the purchase and sale of electricity and gas on wholesale markets, in the development of green hydrogen projects, and in the distribution and sale of gas. With a market capitalization of around 60 billion euros, Iberdrola is the company with the largest weighting in the IBEX 35.

Banco de Sabadell is one of the largest banking groups in Spain and has branches throughout Spain and in other countries in Europe, the Caribbean, North and South America and Asia. Sabadell operates in retail banking and also offers mutual funds, insurance products, mortgage, consumer, student and home loans to businesses and individuals. After posting a loss in fiscal 2020, the bank reported a profit again last year. The share price has been on an upward trend since the second half of 2020 and the dividend yield is currently around 4 %.

Ferrovial is a leading Spanish infrastructure operator and municipal services company. The company operates worldwide and divides its activities into the business areas of services, toll roads, construction, electrification, water and mobility. Because Ferrovial has expertise in dealing with toll roads and airports, the company is expected to benefit greatly from the increasing privatization of infrastructure in the United States. Toll roads in the U.S. are primarily operated by foreign companies due to a lack of expertise in the country. In addition, while there are many infrastructure companies that operate toll roads, few have experience in operating airports.

Enagas is a Spanish gas pipeline operator mainly active in natural gas transmission and storage. The company provides gas transportation services via gas pipelines for the primary and secondary transport of gas to distribution points and also operates regasification plants in Barcelona, Huelva and Cartagena. This involves returning liquefied natural gas (LNG) to its gaseous state and compressing it for onward transportation via pipelines. Enagas imports liquefied natural gas on methane carriers and operates underground storage facilities to coordinate access, storage, transport and distribution to ensure continuity and security of gas supply.
