The stock screenings, information services, Trading signals and coaching offers from the service provider TraderFox are becoming increasingly popular among traders and investors. But how useful are educational material, share rankings and the like really? We have analyzed the offer.
The most important in a nutshell
- TraderFox offers comprehensive stock analyses, rankings, trading signals and its own trading software
- The offers are suitable for beginners and professional traders on the stock market, but only make sense with sufficient capital due to the subscription costs
- It is not a broker! However, the integration with CapTrader provides access to more than 1.2 million tradable securities
What is TraderFox?
Many investors gain their first experience with the classic Aktien für Anfänger oder setzen auf dividendenstarke Aktien. In many cases, active trading follows later. But the basic question always remains the same: which assets should you buy and sell and when?
Hardly anyone has the time (or desire) to wade through thousands of charts and key figures every day. This is exactly where TraderFox wants to help: It offers a system of key figures, automated analysis and lists, AI trading, recommendations and more to support retailers.
The German company has been active since 2008, now employs more than 50 people and has built up a very extensive range of products:
- Trading signalsTraderFox offers understandable signals to help you enter or exit a position
- StrategiesProven trading strategies for different market situations and time periods, such as Scalping, Value investing, Day trading with shares, or also Trade options, are offered
- Data-based: Calculations are based on extensive data, mathematical models and artificial intelligence
- Flexibility: With the ability to customize almost all parameters, TraderFox aims to improve the user experience and enable a high level of personalization
- Rankings and recommendations: If you don't want to make your own calculations and analyses, you can fall back on ready-made rankings and professional recommendations
- Sample portfolio: TraderFox operates “live trading” with daily recommendations that are traded by the provider in a securities account with real money.
- Further training: In-house magazines, blog posts and webinars offer (sometimes free) training for traders and investors
Cost structure, subscriptions and more: what you need to know
TraderFox also wants to make a profit and therefore offers its services for a fee. Investors and traders can choose from a wide range of subscriptions, each with a different focus.
1. Free services
Some services are offered free of charge with the aim of enabling users to gain initial experience with TraderFox. These include
- TraderFox Trading Desk: The trading software is a central component of the offering. You can access the program and gain initial insights without a subscription and even without registering. However, you will not have access to more advanced functions.

You also need an account and a connection to a broker such as CapTrader for the actual trading.
Good to know:
Trading Desk requires a connection to a broker in order to execute transactions. The connection with CapTrader is simple and obvious, as our large selection of over 1.2 million securities fits perfectly with TraderFox's analysis capabilities!
2. Paid subscriptions
At the heart of TraderFox are the paid subscriptions, which give you access to extensive information and trading tips.
- Two payment models are available for private traders and investors
- The “TraderFox stock exchange software” package provides access to the trading software, charting tools and signals as well as the share screener. Price: 29 € per month
- The “Morningstar Data Package” offers stock analysis and rankings, a portfolio planner and an extensive knowledge database. Price: 25 € per month
- “Live Trading Research” provides commentary and information from professional traders, including the “Trade of the Day. Price: 59 € per month
- Various magazines with a focus on Growth shares or Tenbagger are also available. Price: 29 € per month
What TraderFox Trading Desk offers
The Trading Desk is TraderFox's trading software and a particularly attractive offer for users. The powerful application works entirely in your browser.

The trading desk offers numerous customizable areas.
- The various TraderFox products, such as the share screener or the wingman, are perfectly integrated here.
- This makes it as easy as possible for you to use the often complex tools.
- Once you have created a securities account with CapTrader and connected it to the trading desk, you can open, edit or close your desired positions directly in the application.
- Other brokers are also available, but sometimes come with price or selection restrictions. CapTrader is particularly recommended by TraderFox for US equities.
Stock analysis and co: How can TraderFox support you?
TraderFox's offering is extremely broad and includes signal and information services for a wide range of trading strategies. It is therefore suitable for traders and investors with different goals, budgets and prior knowledge.
We present some of the most important services below:
1. share screener
Stock analysis is at the heart of TraderFox and probably one of the main reasons for the platform's continued success.
- Here you can scrutinize around 15,000 securities from the most important markets and classify, sort and compare them using dozens of criteria.
- In addition to the typical "standard key figures" such as the P/E ratio of shares, the KUV or the volume of the last five trading days, there are also more complex calculation methods, criteria and Trading signals usable. These include, for example:
- Flat base breakouts
- Bollinger Bands (above/below)
- Upward and downward trends
- Zanger Breakout
- Momentum (for example RSL-65)
- Neo-Darvas
- Turtle (long/short)
And much more!
- For a better overview, you can subdivide the securities according to countries and indices.
- It is also possible to focus on individual sectors, which are also available as criteria here.

Another particularly exciting feature is the stock analysis with price lists that are made available to you, as well as ready-made scans: Here you do not have to make the settings yourself, but can access professional lists.
William O'Neil's top 150 growth stocks, Gilligan's Island, expansion-breakout, stocks with buying pressure or trend stability help traders to find the best stocks.
2. charting tool
Working with different charts, for example as Day trading charts, is typical for active trading. Using trend lines and channels, Fibonacci retracements, moving averages and many other methods, traders try to derive lucrative positions from the graphs.
TraderFox supports you with the extensive functions of the trading desk, which can easily keep up with other professional programs.
- The special advantage: You can display the information from the share screener, price rankings and price lists directly in the price charts! This integration enables traders to work very efficiently.

Other useful extras are, for example, the display of current news in the charts or price alerts that automatically indicate favorable opportunities. You can then initiate the appropriate trade with CapTrader directly from the charting tool.
3. radar
As a rule, investors initially buy Aktien für Anfänger, before they venture further into the world of finance. At the latest when they want to start active trading, they are literally overwhelmed by an incredible wealth of signals and key figures!
With the “Radar” function, TraderFox wants to bring light into the darkness:
- The radar is designed to help traders of all experience levels to Chart analysis with their signals successfully.
- TraderFox shows you the accuracy for over 100 signals in real time
- For example, classic chart patterns such as resistance and support lines, wedges and triangles, candlestick patterns such as bullish/bearish engulfing and much more are analyzed.
- Should you Swing trading strategies you will also find signals such as 1234, Rivalland or Slingshot (each long/short) and their current hit rate.
- TraderFox has a “Radarbox” function that shows you the best signals for pre-defined strategies
- The “Single value” function gives you an insight into patterns and signals that match the selected security, as well as their current status (already triggered, triggering soon, etc.).

There is no evidence that technical analysis/chart analysis can be used to predict share prices. It is therefore all the more important to only rely on key figures that fit the respective asset and have already proven their accuracy in the past.
TraderFox closes an interesting gap in the technical analysis and also makes backtesting much easier.
4. wingman
With the “Wingman AI trading is coming to TraderFox!
- The additional function monitors the markets with adjustable algorithms and shows opportunities for lucrative trades in real time.
- Various signals are used for this purpose. If one of them is triggered, you can take a closer look at it in the wingman window and convert it into corresponding trades.
- You can customize Wingman to suit your needs and change its appearance and content in a variety of ways.

The offer is particularly suitable for traders who are just gaining their first experience with active trading and provides excellent support during the learning phase.
Especially in combination with a Paper Trading Account you can develop a feel for the markets in a safe environment.
Of course, experienced traders can also benefit from the Wingman's impulses. Together with the other functions, there are excellent opportunities for automating trades, for example, which can relieve trading experts of a lot of work.
Social Trading
The concept Social Trading is becoming increasingly popular: successful traders provide an insight into their portfolio and make it possible to replicate the transactions there.
- TraderFox also enables its users to participate in this trend: The portfolios of well-known stock market gurus such as Warren Buffett are replicated using their publicly accessible documents (U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission documents).
- As a TraderFox customer, you can recreate the professional portoflios yourself or use them as inspiration.
- A large selection ensures that you will find the right template for your strategy.
Newstrading
Another highly popular form of trading is the Newstrading. Here, traders monitor the latest news reports and try to profit from the resulting changes by taking appropriate positions.
- This is a potentially very lucrative trading strategy, but it also has considerable requirements
- Traders must not only have extensive market knowledge, but also use the right sources and act at high speed.
- The AFX-Pro feed of the news agency DPA is available to users as a subscription.
- It forms an ideal starting point for successful new trading and provides important impulses for the Day trading with shares.
- There is a charge of €25 per month for the subscription
To make the information in this news feed more accessible, the “Price Reactions” function has also been developed. It shows the news on a specific company and the price reaction of the share.

Of course, you can also make numerous settings here and show and hide messages, for example. The starting point for this is the info box, which gives you direct access to all important data and messages.

Disadvantages and costs of TraderFox
CapTrader offers an automatic connection to Trading Desk for our clients; however, we are not affiliated with the company and can also openly name the disadvantages and negative experiences! The following negative aspects stand out:
1. Costs
Subscriptions cost between €25 and €29 per month. There are additional costs of €29 per month for the various magazines published by the company.
Is this price justified? That depends solely on how you use TraderFox!
- Active traders and investors with larger assets can easily earn a multiple of these fees through better data and trading recommendations
- The costs are too high for occasional investors with small assets. Especially if several subscriptions are used, the costs quickly add up and exceed any income
2. Clutter
TraderFox is also aimed specifically at amateurs and private investors who have little time and energy available for their stock market strategy: The company specifically advertises that its offerings are particularly suitable for people "who only have 60 minutes to spend on the stock market each week”.
However, these people in particular are likely to be hopelessly overwhelmed by the extremely extensive options! In most cases, this leads to two possible scenarios:
- The retailer ignores some of the many functions that are available to him through his subscription. He then pays a comparatively high price for the services he uses.
- The user is overwhelmed and gives up in frustration.
Beginners should therefore check carefully during their trial month whether the use of TraderFox is worthwhile for their day-to-day trading!
3. Performance
A look at the TraderFox website does not present a particularly attractive picture: the old-fashioned website is full of spelling mistakes and has obviously not been updated for some time. Information on the products (e.g. number of shares eligible for screening) differs greatly.
The use of the controversial messaging service Telegram for some of the offers also leaves an unpleasant aftertaste. The program, which is developed in the United Arab Emirates and has close links to Russia, is used worldwide for scams, misinformation and illegal content.
This impression does not match the professional offer of TraderFox. However, it should be noted: The company offers trading tips and data. Spelling and web design should not play a role here.
4. Share focus
Traderfox is focused on share trading. If you are interested in other assets, such as Trade options, you will probably be disappointed by the offer.
Conclusion: Positive TraderFox experiences show the strength of the offer
The German company TraderFox provides traders with comprehensive information and signal services. The centerpiece is the trading desk, a trading software that you can connect to your CapTrader securities account. The result is a helpful tool for all market participants who actively trade and are looking for the best conditions to do so.
The offers are so numerous that it would go beyond the scope of this description to list them all. However, the following are particularly noteworthy:
- Stock screener: It allows you to analyze more than 15,000 securities in detail. Here you can find the right stocks for your strategy, make comparisons and find the most exciting stocks using ready-made lists
- Charting tool: Offers you the opportunity to Technical analysis at a professional level. The various indicators are excellently integrated. Direct trading from the charts is also possible.
- Wingman: The AI trading offer helps you to never miss an entry or exit point again. Signals are recorded automatically and a notification is issued to keep you up to date.
- Signal services: Social Trading, Newstrading and notifications about current changes in the market are particularly helpful. TraderFox also supports you in finding the right reaction to the respective signals.
Somewhat less attractive are the current website of the offer and the costs, which are at least €25 per month and can quickly rise further. It can also be quite confusing to use, especially if you use several of the products.
Actual trading is not offered. TraderFox is therefore not a broker, but instead enables a connection to external brokers such as CapTrader. This creates an ideal combination: you can use a free Open an account and the enormous range of retail products and Paper Trading Account about the TraderFox trading desk at CapTrader use.
Thanks to TraderFox's free trial offers, you can try out the signal service without any risk and gain your own experience.
