Tencent is one of the best-known Chinese Internet companies and is headquartered in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, which borders Hong Kong to the south and is known for its electronics and telecommunications industry. Xiaomi is an electronics company headquartered in Beijing and is the third largest smartphone manufacturer in the world. Especially in the smartphone market, the competition from companies such as Apple, Samsung and Google is fierce, and one of the features of Xiaomi products is the much cheaper price. Just like the Tencent stock, Xiaomi has been going downhill continuously for the past year and a half. However, the share price has stabilized since May 2022 and is moving sideways at the time of writing this article.
